Not good from the crowd when this comes out?

I think the crowd had a point - we were diabolical for the first 30 odd minutes. As I said the other day, and as it appears from this interview, this sort of thing is not helpful.

The last thing we need is the players not listening to the crowd. It's what has made Carrow Road a fortress over the last few years - the twelfth man.

I completely understand the need to show frustration at the end of the match, but not in the middle when we have just equalised.

It could be just the way it was written and not the way it was meant from Turner, in the dressing room they probably said ignore the crowd up our game and we will have them onside in the second half.

the only time i have booed this season is during the luton game as that was shocking and really should have had alarm bells ringing then about the level of attacking intent we showed.

The players responded very well to the crowd. Just shows what a bit of vocal support in the team can do.

We lifted them and what keeps being missed out is that we had a great show of attacking football for a large portion of the game. I can't see how Saturday cannot be seen as anything but positive. All three points would have been great but the heart showed by the players surely is a huge positive? Anyone else feel that? Look at snodgrasses celebration and tell me those players don't give a ****.

I've said words to this effect on at least 3 different threads now, but I still appear to be in a minority. Nowhere near the finished article, it's true, (we were never going to simply steamroller a side like Swansea) but a MASSIVE improvement from Toon, Fulham, QPRofl and Saints so far in 2013. So credit where it's due, surely, guys?

I think there was an inevitable nervousness in both the crowd and the players on Saturday and that was apparent in our play for the first 30 minutes - at times our players looked out of touch, out of their depth and scared of each other and the ball. The Michu scored and it appeared to sting both the crowd and players into positive action and from then we turned in an inspired and (by recent standards) an aggressive and attacking intent.

We deserved an equaliser, deserved to go into the lead and if KK had have buried his chance we would have gone on to clinch it. He didn't and then we switched off at the back which allowed them to get their equaliser and they could have (should have) won it at the end when Michu (thankfully) had one of the misses of the season. Defeat though would have been an injustice though due to our much improved showing between minutes 35 and 80.

We just need that same passion and flair in our remaining games and we'll be fine.

The middle half of the game was all us. Swansea looked rattled and on the ropes. I honestly doubt you saw the game.

Easy to say don't get behind the players on here, but when you are at the game frustration can come into it, it's a way of showing that u want them to do the best but not in the most positive way. Maybe we could trial a guy on a mic like in the Montenegro England game to keep up the noise all game

The crowd was much louder from the start and needs to be louder still. Atmosphere makes a huge difference.

If you want an example of how a negative crowd effects results look at Stoke. Their fans are practically playing them into a relegation fight through hate directed at their manager.

They have their reasons, but some fans seem to be on a self fulfilling prophecy

26,000+ every home game and a large away support... Im sorry but we deserve.a lot better than what the players are providing! Yes we shouldnt get on their backs but its hard when its soooo bad every time we see them. We do need to be louder at the start but the players need to use the support they get or else risk us being unsatisfied im afraid.

I think football is a confidence game and I can understand the nervousness, but Swansea are a difficult team to play against. IMO, the booing encourages the opposition. Swansea got overconfident after their goal and allowed their fullbacks to overcommit up the field and paid the price when Snods was left unmarked to head the first goal with Tiendalli way out of position. The balance has to be right between attack and defence or the opposition will exploit the weakness in the PL.

If I had the money I'd gladly pay for certain fans season tickets and gladly pay them to keep away from Carrow Road for life. If you don't know what I'm getting at I'm talking about the type of people who frown, scowl, drone and sigh heavily if anyone has the audacity to make any noise in the close proximity to them, these are people that suck the atmosphere out of football grounds across the country and they enjoy making everyone around them have a miserable experience.

Is this in the Jarrold? My cousin and his mate had a war with the lady who sat behind him in the Jarrold for a couple of seasons, they've moved to the Barclay now but they said all she did was moan and get wound up with people trying to have a laugh.

Keep up the good work by the way fear no-one it's a free country, if she don't like that tell her she can **** off and go watch the snooker or Tennis.

Whoa, that's a ****ing insult, I haven't missed a game all season pal. The difference between us is I don't have the Green and Yellow specs on all of the time!!!!!
I'll define a large portion for you then shall I?
A ****ing sight more than 35% posession that's what, 65% is a larger portion!!! 2/3rds for them 1/3rd for us, the home team, that my friend is portions or fractions or which ever way you want to look at it. Either way we did not have a large portion of the game!
I won't return the insult, but, perhaps you were looking in the wrong direction for 65% of the time.

Pff, yeah, possessions alright but you have to do something with it.

Swansea just pass it around their back four most of the time to give the stattos a hard on later. Useless, boring.

Amazed Swansea have never been found out. Every time we've pushed them high up the pitch and put some energy in they've completely fallen to pieces.

If they're so good, the self appointed harlem globetrotters of premier league football, how have we scored 6 goals against them this season?

They were lucky to get a draw.
