I don't expect us to beat teams like Liverpool even asking for a draw is a tall order. The game I saw today though was absolutely despicable towards the fans who made an effort to make their way up to Liverpool today. Liverpool played well but we gifted that game to them.

    From what I gathered today.

-General lack of effort seemed a bit too cold for the players to run, nobody attempted to pressure the Liverpool players.
-Our team is split into two different components defence/midfield and Grant Holt, apart from Snodgrass making effort to break though he get's zero support Howson in that attacking midfield role might aswell be a ghost.
-Johnson and Tettey we play in yellow pass to the players in yellow shirts...Lost the ball on numerous occasions and a gutless performance in midfield, Tettey in his fairness tried at times to put in challenges.
-Predictable passing there was no-ends of the times Norwich players were in Space we just passed pinged the ball back until our attacks fizzled out.

People are going to have a whinge about the defence but the midfield lost us that game they contained Liverpool as much as they could.

Let's sort it out for the Spurs game OTBC!

I can't believe all you lot preparing to jump off a cliff! We are expected to struggle in this league FFS, would you rather be a Villa fan? At least we've got some daylight between us and the bottom 3!

Not for much longer Dave, that was an embarrassing performance. However I trust McNally to make the right call, if he thinks that Hughton doesn't have what it takes to keep us up he will fire him make no mistake.

Sorry, as I've said in my new topic, this is terrible result but we should keep it in context that we have been competitive in all our other matches. I wasn't expecting anything at Anfield, but there is no excuse for such a dire performance!

Villa have Lambert, he has performed miracles before 3 times. They also have a couple of strikers who can score, even if their defence is determined to sabotage the team's survival effort.

We have Hughton, who it seems wants us to defend at all costs and currently, we are in freefall - i mean lets be honest, our season can be summed up by: "after an abysmal start, Norwich City went on a confidence-boosting run of 10 games unbeaten lifting them up to ~25 points, after which they returned to freefall and relegation form thereafter". That is how most pundits see it and who can blame them?

    That's the issue <ok>

Okay, Liverpool played well but how much did we contribute to that? Quite a lot I would suggest, we were awful for the 2nd time in 8 days.

No worries then. It just seemed that it was aimed more at us in this thread. This post is just highlighting why things went so wrong today.

There is some winnable games to come up but I would like to see some changes.

<laugh> To be honest, I don't blame Warky. The Binners got a good result today and we have been comprehensively shat on and as a consequence are miserable. Ripe time for some WUMming!
