The result that is, can't comment on the performance until I watch it later tonight. Seems like we played okay from what I've heard but, just didn't have anyone to put it in the back of the net.

From what I saw I think we had more of the ball. We scraped the crossbar twice.. Bardsley stopped a certain goal and we were caught 2 on 1 at the death and Dembele should of scored or passed it accross the box for a simple tap in.

Not much between the two teams and when I was listening to the commentry the bloke said...

"It will take just one moment of quality to seperate these two teams"

I think that tells the story.

Big Dick got booked for a high foot, then 2 minutes later miss times anoth tackle yet stays on the pitch.

    What a ****ing joke.

A draw was a fair result but as you say, not good enough.

We played quite well, Catts actually had a decent game even though he got booked. Sess was very creative but there was just no-one getting in the right positions to finish. The back 4 looked solid. Catts not bardo cleared a chance of theirs off the line. We had most of the possession and passed the ball well. Bendtner was quiet and did not really do much. Elmo was fairly bad, OShea was equally bad going forward but was solid at the back. Ji was terrible once he came on. Richardson looked alright on the left and inter changed well with Sess. We missed Larson but we missed a striker even more.

We should really have won the game, in the last minute Sess almost scored but was denied by a great save. The performance was encouraging but the result not good enough. We must sign and out and out proven goal scorer in Jan. Personally I don't think Bendtner is worth signing he offers less than Wickham in my view. We need an new striker and Campbell fit ASAP. The only things I think Bruce got wrong was bringing Ji on instead of Noble and not bringing Elmo off sooner.

On a side note: Catts was rightfully booked for a reckless challenge, Etuhu did an almost identical challenge 2 mins later and did not get booked, he was already on a yellow card??

Sess is not a striker, so therefore we only really had one up front. Also Colback and Catts are both defensive midfielders and therefore only one of them should have played. Put these two together and you get a team that is set out to be defensive, and it shouldn't have come as a surprise that we dodn't score, although to be fair we were very unlucky at times. Fulham were there for the taking today, and in my opinion this is two very important points dropped.

Bruce plays 4-5-1 and we don't score 'shocker'.

Perhaps Bruce's next job will be to reincarnate and host the hit TV show Suprise Suprise. :emoticon-0160-movie
