Match Day Thread Not going out to watch the Toon vs Huddersfield match thread....with a Christmas twist!

Giving the lustre of daylight to the fans right below

When, what to my wondering eyes should appear
But Rafa again with a team sheet, that's queer
He whislted and shouted and called them by name:
Now Shelvey! now Ritchie, now Perez and Rondon
On, Diame! on Ki on Kenedy and Yedlin

As i finished me pint and turned right around
Doon the stairs came Fat Mike with a bound
He was dressed in a suit with his black and white tie
He sat next to Lee and started to lie

A bundle of cash he had tucked in his pants
Oi'm gawwing to Asper's you banch of cants
His eyes how they twinkled his fat face all red
His cheeks were like roses, his nose and his head

He had a broad face and a massive round belly
That shook when he laughed (at us) like a bowlful of jelly
A wink of his eye and a rub of his hand
He thinks we're the thickest fans in the land

He sprang to his feet, to Lee gave a cheer
And off he ****ed quicker than he downs his beer
But I heard him exclaim as he broke wind with glee
You toon fans will never be ****ing rid of me

Reet, back to the game.

Old fashioned 3pm kick off, Yedlin's banned (dickhead), Fernandez and Shelvey are doubtful but Dummet and Schar are back in contention...whooop de ****ing doo !!

Anthony Taylor is on the whistle for this one.....whoooop de ****ing doo !!

HTFC have a few injuries, most noteably to Mooy who seems to like scoring against us....whooooop de ****ing do !!

We play 4 of the big guns in our next 7 games after this one so a point (at least) will be a good result. I'm going for a hard fought 2-1 to the Toon tho.

I think we will win this. Like the way we set up away from home. Gone with 0-2.

You're going to play Rondon and Tudor up front? Come on man, that's never going to work. Tudor needs someone faster up front with him to get the best out of him, everyone knows that!!

BBC had it down as 4-4-1-1 but I think it might be the 5-2-3 again? Three CB's, Manqy/Kenny wing back, Diame/Ki and a front "3" of Perez, Atsu, Rondon?

Lossl, Hadergjonaj, Zanka, Schindler, Kongolo, Lowe, Hogg, Billing, Bacuna, Pritchard, Depoitre.

We'll still get beat, mind, but their team sheet really isn't inspiring either! It really is **** in that "third tier" of the league.

This is surely the worst Newcastle team for what must be about 26 years. Clueless, they look like a team or ringers who met half an hour ago.

Kenedy - Has someone drugged him, he is having a shocker.
Diame - Headless.
Perez - Jogging about like a pansy. AGAIN!
Manquillo - I just hate him wearing a shirt!

I have no idea what our tactics are today I really do not. Is it just sit back and basically do NOTHING!

 

I honestly have seen nothing like it. NO-ONE can actually do anything. It is comedy gold it really is.

This takeover better had happen quick as we can't actually play football.
