every year we have a transfer saga that just drags on and on. hopefully we can get this one over the line soon as it would be an exciting signing and could be quite a capture for us. the season is approaching fast and we need them signing on the dotted line and in our shirts sooner rather then later
But if his wage demands are preposterously high should we just pay them? Frustrating yes but it's a none sense to just chuck money away on players.
I do think there's more to this than the press are saying personally. I don't actually think they know what's happening - Poyet apparently says it's a possibility but no more than that. Again the first quote on the transfer I've heard - the rest has been paper speculation and nothing more.
