led projector <ok>........depending on room size ....cheap but great is a uk firm www.led-proj***** <wink>.....bargain price for what you get....ive owned an optima before that and I`d buy another one of them and all....they do require bulbs every two year or so mind(£80)>>>>the led is the more economical with 50000 hrs..........<<<<both great items...........most of my mates dismissed it(projection over tv) until they seen it in action.....gaming movies sport`s are superb on it.

the hidden cost is the sound....any sound system is good....your choice depending on your price margin and sound quality needs.

Projector ! good shout i never thought of that, but probably just gonna go for traditional box in corner of not the biggest room in my castle :D I don`t do gaming i have little enough time to do stuff i want as it is, and i know how addictive gaming is from watching my mates on it !
Just a good up to date reliable make with a few new tech bells n whistles in it will do :emoticon-0148-yes:

Don't bother with a curved screen unless it's bigger than 70" though. Under that size it's just a gimmick with little - if any effect on viewing.

LG or Samsung Smart TV's are the way to go if you can afford the 4K then all the better, but HD Smart TV is quality anyway.............<cheers>

Why go with 4k? There's bugger all 4k content to watch, and you can't even tell the difference from 1080p unless you're sat right on top of the telly.

Off to Germany Sunday to visit my sister and have a party for my fathers 80th birthday. I have a fistful of DVD's and an old style cube job done. Mind you after all the beer I will drink wont matter what I am watching or on what TV I am watching it on.

I set it up today and the difference between my old hd tv picture and this one is great on the standard hd channels, plus daredevil and a few others on netflicks in 4k uhhd were amazingly clear, the 3d works really well on normal stuff but on bluray 3d its a hell of a lot better than i expected, add that to superb sound quality internet stuff and other tricks on it im well happy tyvm <cheers>
