Lazy article. Take no notice of it. Even the bit about James Chester is untrue. Just reading it shows how poorly researched the article really is.

Keep under the radar!! Not sure how important the daily mail radar is compared to sky who've tipped us for autos but it'll do!

We haven't been in the top six predictions for the whole season so why worry. Historically Cardiff always drop off in the second half of the season so I don't see them for automatic promotion. Could be right about Lesta, as to the playoff postions, I would be surprised if any of those quoted where in a playoff position, but if I was to choose one of them it would be Boro

The only reason I've read it is because its free at airports, so I pick one up & then use it as garbage wrapping in the future.

This garbage keeps getting to me. What the fck has history got to do with it? Opinions based on history are generally trotted out by people with little or no grasp of the present.

At Cardiff we have completely new and dedicated owners, a new and talented young manager, fantastic coaching and sports science team, and twenty new players since Dai Jones got the elbow that now play as a team rather than of a group of ego based individuals.

Of course, all this guarantees nothing at all, but what it does do is make all this "history" forecast crap that's constantly flagged up on the forums a load of bollucks.

If we don't make autos this year, it'll be nothing to do with history - we will have just failed like all the others who don't make it.

For what it's worth, I hope the two auto spots will be taken by the current encumbants - not bothered about anyone else. <ok>

Good. It is for people who can spell and punctuate.

    Stick to the Guardian.

Probably a Luddite mate - he'll be smashing up the machinery next.

Why can't posters discuss the article and the game in general, instead of hitting the keyboard with pointless one line drivel posts?

Opinions about which newspaper some prefer are usually influenced by what they say about your own team. For God's sake rise above it and discuss what's been said, not who wrote it.

I dont see how it works that we are in the mix for an automatic but not the play offs.

This is just some writers own opinion, I don't take any notice, as even on the TV certain pundits have their own ideas who will go up and who will go down, and usually they are way off the mark. The important thing is who it actually in the top 6 at the end of the season.
