After playing QPR twice this season we haven't scored a single goal against them! A 0-0 draw at Loftus Road and a 1-0 loss at the Bridge, I was at both games and for the one at Loftus Road we were quite lucky. Our players don't seem to know what it means to the fans whereas the QPR fans and players want to beat us more than anything. Now I know that although QPR are a rival, they aren't a main rival at all tbh but this loss still hurts. Our team selection tonight was very strange and if we don't beat Southampton on Saturday then Rafa had better have a good reason as to why he rested so many players tonight. Tactically wrong. Fergie against Wigan player a full strength side and then rotated when the game was won. They won 4-0. We tried the opposite and lost to the worst team in the league 1-0. Fair play to QPR for how they played and far play to their fans who were actually fairly loud tonight. The 'Champions of Europe, you're already out' and 'Ashley Cole, you're John Terry's bitch' made me laugh. That said they repeat the same chants over and over again. On a final note... I hope they get relegated Just kidding I do hope they stay up... it's a good West London Derby and always feisty.. all the best to them.
Cheers Bucks for your thoughts. We love playing Chelsea and wish we could play your team every week. Glad we woke up your library as seemed like a home game to our players. Dont write us off yet we won our last 6 home games last season after winning only 2 all season one of which was against your mob.
I think the atmosphere showed how much you hate us and how much we don't really care about you tbh... Oh and a fair number of empty seats in your away end (the upper tier)... You can talk when you're in the Prem next season. I hope you stay up I really do because it's a good derby but it will be tough
Rotation's part of Rafa's strategy for success, but I have to say we took the field yesterday with the weakest line up I've seen for a long time!
Surprised that QPR could not sell out their end. But like ELLERS said after the 6-1 last season and poor form this season a lot of Rrrrs had given up on their team. A good lesson to learn: You should never give up on your club. there is always a win round the corner
The thing is... this weekend we saw the difference. Fergie at Wigan and Rafa yesterday. Start strong and then rotate. That is what to do and not the other way around
