http://www.fansfc.com/story/41169.html Queens Park Rangers are interested in signing Johan Djourou. The Switzerland international still has three years remaining on his contract at Arsenal, but is set to leave this summer due to a lack of first team action. A number of clubs in Italy are thought to be interested in the 25-year-old, but Mark Hughes is hoping to persuade him to stay in the English capital. The QPR boss is eager to add more quality to his squad ahead of next season, and he hopes to add Djourou to his back four in a £6million deal.
I thought he'd broken through a while ago. Better as defensive midfield IMO and worth a punt for a couple of million.
I don't even look at the prices quoted as how many times have they been proved wrong but it's nice to be linked to a young, hungry and quality player who can still develop and improve.
