Are you supporters seriously happy with the style of
football you play?? Has Pullis took you guys as far as
he can, and what is the feeling towards him??

Dont want to sound like a patronising knob, but if Stoke
were my team, i seriously dont think i could go along and
watch that style of football your manager serves up.

    Tin hat on ..

Take your tin hat off bopper because the vast majority of the Stoke faithful are now sick to their back teeth of Pulis and his negativity and his lack of football knowledge. It's only a die hard small minority now that are saying Pulis is still "God like."
It's got to the point now where it's embarrassing. Against Westbrom on Monday we had to listen to the Westbrom fans chanting hoof everytime we got the ball. If that wasn't enough to make Pulis wake up and smell the coffee I don't know what is. Basically Pulis has taken us as far as he knows how to. With the money he has had at his disposal and the backing of one of the premier leagues top chairmen he should be thoroughly ashamed of himself. But TP looks in the mirror and says to himself " You know what Tone we were unlucky today, for the first 20 minutes we were smashing!"
Pulis is a one trick pony and the only reason we did ok the first 2 seasons is that his hoofball and long throw actually worked. Now every premier league manager has his game plan he is well and truly up **** creek without a paddle. I personally think he has lost the dressing room too as the players don't have the same fight in them as they has at the beginning of last year when we were scoring 3 goals in each game at home against Man City and Arsenal.
The Brit was a ground where prem teams feared to come. Yet the likes of Blackpool come now and we make them look like Barcelona. I'm currently reading a book on Waddo'd era and it is actually making me dislike Pulis even more!
"The wad is God not TP"

Were unique, and we recognise that - trust me WE KNOW! :cheesy: And a true supporter, keeps supporting there team through thick AND thin. YES, I know its diverse but I quite like being different, some guys on here like it, some guys on here don't, we've all got an opinion but there is no getting over the truth, were physical, were long-ball, and were full of 'aerial threats' - its brought us this far, we have to cope with it... It goes to show, being different gets you noticed..

Up until a few months ago i'd say we were happy but lately it has just been awful, back to the type of football we were playing in the 04/05 season.

Pulis has always divided fans but his tactics, substitutions, team selections have seriously pissed off a lot of Stoke fans lately and many want him to go.

Take that tin hat off laddie, NONE of us supporters that want to preserve our Premier League status playing the way that we currently are, we have the players to play a much more CONFIDENT style of football but we choose not to? This may because the manager doesn't posses the qualities that a true all round football manager does or it maybe that he doesn't trust his players I am just guessing though and have no idea why we aren't playing our best XI when it counts.
We as supporters will never know, we stil don't know why we didn't sign David James last season when we evidently did get Asmir Begovic.

    Are we satisfied?

    No we definately are NOT!

Pulis is starting to make Chic Bates look like a decent manager and going on recent selections and substitutions i'm hard pushed to try and support Tony Pulis!

    :(

Inverness - really, James instead of Begovic??? He's made a few mistakes but do you really think James could've done a better job against the baggies? (saying that, I still prefer Soro)

It is getting difficult for us Stokies but I've said it over and over now, TP said this was the plan. I don't like the football we play, and it is hard to support Pulis but if we survive (and annoyingly it is an if this time) I think we'll see a change.

    KTF guys!!!!!!

No need for the tin hat matie. We all ******* know how badly we've played recently. Our Style? Well, that's where I think we're going wrong right now. I don't like it to be honest but, it worked for us. Now! Pulis is changing the team around, player's out of position almost every week and it's costing us big time.

And, I do not think Pulis can take us too the " Next level" something he said he would do after 3 years? I will give him until the end of this one, hope for some decent signings in the summer and if it means Pulis leaves. So be it!

We're used to our player's playing with pride, passion, heart and I've not see too much of that the last month or so.
And, contrary to many fans views of us, we can play some decent football too.

I think it's called "back to basic's" IF we did that, I think we'll be O.K.

KTF of course we all will <ok>

    Dave,
I'm not saying i'd want James instead of Begovic but we STILL don't know why we were so close to signing James but never did and really shows how much us supporters are left in the dark over matters that concern the club, if they concern Stoke City FC then it's mine and every other person's concern also.

I do believe Asmir will be one of the best goalkeepers in the world, he won't learn unless he plays and through playing he will have to learn through his mistakes.

Pulis has lost the plot. He plays 3 hoLding midfielders and his negativity is ridiculous. I want him out!!. If I didnt know any better Id swear he is TRYING to get us relegated!!!. His tactics are the worst ive ever seen. Thanks for all you have done pulis, but the sooner you are gone the better!!!.

Jub. . .I completely agree with what you say about a true supporter, however I dont agree when you say that our tactics have brought us this far, alot of teams in the league this season have been under-achieving and alot of results have gone in favour for Stoke, thankfully were still 4 points off relegation. Im not a Pulis hater, im a s**t tactic and poor performance hater and the style we all see week in week out is not worthy of a place in the best league in the world. Il always keep the faith and will follow Stoke no matter what league we are in, but i wont be blind to the fact that things should and could be alot better for Stoke and i personally dont think Pulis is the guy to get us there.

    City til i dieeeeeeeeeeeee
