Not a wage cap, but the same wage

Where I think everything went wrong was the fact that some players, loyal players, are on 25K a week, while others are on double, even treble this amount. If I worked with someone, doing the same job, with such a wage difference, I would not be happy and find it difficult to work with this person. The resentment in the dressing room after a defeat must be monumental.

So, what's to be done? I think that each and every player should be offered a new contract to sign. Say, 25K a week and a win bonus of 5K if your in the starting eleven (3K if your on the bench). This would then rise to, say, 30K (10K win bonus) in the PL. Players who do not sign would be put straight onto the transfer list, and not welcome when training starts in July. TF would then know who wants to play for the Rs and who just wants the money.

QPR would be paying (probably) the highest wages in the Championship, and therefore, be able to attract the best Championship players. Our rich owners would be able to afford such a wage bill, maybe even not lose money, which is what must happen in the future.

A happy dressing room of players wanting to help each other and play for us is what we need, could this be the answer?

They have already stated that they are going to re-negotiate deals with all players with a much lower basic and bigger performance incentives, the contracts will also have 'tear-up' clauses. Sadly, they are two years too late and no player is voluntarily going to agree to it. It also suggests that there were no relegation clauses included which, frankly, is suicidal financial management...

If there are no relegation clauses then the CEO should depart, but I doubt that will happen even if it is true.
