I've seen this comment bandied about for the least couple of years, and it got me thinking, what makes a United player, is it they mentality, temperament, determination etc, we've been linked with Fellaini and Baines for the last 2 years now and our fans are saying that the former isn't a united type player, i don't get it myself, if they're good enough to play for us, that's all that matters in my opinion.
The definition of "A United type player" will now change as you have a new manager. The type of player a team goes for is usually dictated by the manager and the types of tactics he employs. As you now have a new manager, I can see the type of player United go for changing.
