After the disappointment of last Saturday and to dispel the gloom, I needed to watch this again and remind myself of why I love football. Ive never been able to live that day down lol not just on here...ive had so much stick about that game... For anyone new...that was the only home game i missed that season and it was not even out of choice!!!!!
I did say the post wasn't for you brb. Seriously though, as bad as I felt after Saturday I felt good after that game, the roller coaster of emotions from being 2 - 0 down, coming back to level at 2 - 2, conceding another 2 goals to be losing 4 - 2, then pulling it back again to 4 - 4, the penalty save in what I thought would be the last act of the game only to score a late goal and win it. This was the sort of game that I live for and why I will always watch it when the dark thoughts of "what's the point" start to creep over me.
