Samuel Eto'o is set to become the highest-paid player in football history after Internazionale agreed terms on his transfer to Anzhi Makhachkala. .The striker is set to earn a reported 25 million euros per year (£21.8m), sending him well clear of multi-millionaire stars such as Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Sergio Aguero. He is due for a medical on Wednesday in Makachkala, in the troubled southern Russian region of Dagestan, and will sign a three-year contract. A statement on the Russian club's official website read: "Today an agreement was reached between the football clubs, Anzhi and Inter, for the transfer of Samuel Eto'o. The terms of the transfer are completely agreed on both sides. "Anzhi expresses gratitude to the leadership of Inter Milan for their professional and constructive approach in the negotiations." Anzhi are owned by billionaire Suleyman Kerimov, and have made an impressive recruitment spree, bringing in stars such as Brazil legend Roberto Carlos and ex-Chelsea winger Yuri Zhirkov. Eto'o, 30, made his name in Spain with Real Madrid and Real Mallorca before winning the 2006 and 2009 Champions League with Barcelona. He joined Inter in 2009 and won a Serie A, Italian Cup and Champions League treble in his first season. Now thats a canny bit of dough for kicking a bloody football....... Whats it a week.
If you earn that much, i am definately not doing these flyers for free (if i am any good at them that is) PS: i had to adblock the dancing man the other day after the defeat, there is supposed to be the stick out tongue smilie after that, but i cant see it, hope its there for others.
Ha ha. I wish mate! Just waiting for a few HQ logo's and such from the venue mate, i'll email you them over. Was promised them today, but today in Spain tends to mean 'sometime in the next 4 days..'.
No worries, I am busy gutting the bedroom anyway, which means turning my PC off soon for a few hours to move it/clean it, so no rush.
Aye, no worries, and no rush, it'll be Thursday most likely cos i actually have stuff to do tomorrow! Pah.
I was reading about the team the other day. There's so much violence/shootings etc etc the team live and train in moscow and fly to home games the day before and straight back after the game. Canny money though. (if your alive to spend it)
