I haven’t posted much on here lately.
BECAUSE
most of my recent threads have either been merged or deleted
You ask for interaction and post more

This is not new they’ve been doing it a while now
We need rid of them mods and get in people who do the job correctly
They need to think first then act there is some really nasty posters but there threads are not touched
Mods need changing

Can't say I really notice the mods modding that much to be honest but surely merging and stuff should be agreed on by the thread-starter etc.
Don't go leaving over something like that though Vince.

Yeah shall we say that in future mods should always check with the thread starter before merging or deleting any threads?

Doesn't seem to be worth pissing people off for the sake of deleting threads and tidying up.

Like I say it’s happening regularly
I don’t start many threads
But when I do there either merged or deleted
I find that strange
 
I try to pick up a thread or answer a question
Then I find my post has disappeared
No rhyme or reason for it
 
Not sure what's happening, admittedly I'm no longer a regular here so I miss a lot that goes on.

The mods have it tough and when I look around other boards, we've got it pretty alright. It could be worse.

If that is happening Vince, then it might be for the right reasons. However, I think if the mods aren't messaging you to explain why it's happening then that's where they're failing. Its just respect and common courtesy to do so.

Don't leave mate, you're part of the furniture around here.

Not a regular poster on 606,don't know who is or not a mod
one would wonder why your question's are not answered by a mod or mod's.
Hang in there vince fella,hope it get's sorted soon.
 
Any merged posts should at least be justified publically by the mods.. If two posts are almost identical it does make sense to merge them.
 
I can't remember specifics, but I've merged threads when there's already one about the same subject, 'cos that makes sense to me, and, after communication, it's usually because the second thread starter hadn't realised about the other one . . . . and I haven't deleted any of your posts, Vince, or indeed any from anybody for blinking ages, so I don't know which ones you're referring to.

We don't get the abuse that we used to on here, and as SAF said above, that may be because what we do works !

Also as SAF said, you're a part of the furniture here, Vince <hug>
