Morning Folks, When the BBC 606 closed down, I moved over to not606, and although I spend most of my forum time on here, I occassionally go over to ja606. I was just wondering how many of you subscribe to both, and what is it about your forum that you prefer. 99.9% of not606 are very anti bates, though I'm told thats not the case on ja606. Its a shame there is not one board that we all post on. I find not606 easier to navigate, friendlier people, and not as confrontational !
Elland most of the MAC seem to be over their now, I posted a thread (just before it closed)on BBC606 telling everyone to go to JA606 because it was very similar to the BBC 1. So everyone started using that, then I tried to set up an account myself and I couldn't on my work computer which meant I can see what everyone is writing over their but cant comment.
Not606 kicks the crap out of JA. Some of JA's posters need there head testing and thank god LIW posts over there to add a bit of balance! I have seen a few posters use both the forums & theres a few on JA I would like over here, lets hope they do the right thing & find us soon!

I do a lot of work from home, boards always get confrontational and they kill far too much of my productive time. I also like to get to know identities so for me it is one board and one board only. I came here because it was different to the old BBC board, I have made it my home, like those who post and even when I disagree it is not on a level where it turns into a pissing match.

I flit between boards and find not606 a much easier forum to keep track of previous threads and the PM arrangements are very much a bonus for me. JA606 was one of my first ports of call but it fell down in the early days with some continuity. Thats fine now and I still have friends from the bbc606 days who post on JA. Most over there prefer the familairity of the layout to their liking and so be it. I find both sets of moderators are very helpful and really find that both have been very helpful and supportive over some of the admin tasks I need to do with my games. Both boards have some great characters who provide some great threads and the fun guys ones are great to have on any board. Overall Leeds fans are a friendly bunch and we do attract some occasional nerds but they all add to the general mix. So whatever board suits your style good luck and enjoy the season.
I only moved to not606 because the server was down at ja606 at the start, but then really liked this site. The layouts better, all the good threads go automatically to the top, and there's less posters. Ja606 has like 20 pointless threads a day, and all the good ones get lost. Also too many knobheads on there, while we only really had clivetime. Still go on there though, cause more threads etc. but I wish a few of them came here instead.
Elland Will you tell them all on JA606 that I cant post over their cos my work doesnt have a good enough server! Tell them Y-N-B-K is still a legend
As has been noted, much friendlier on here, better layout and fewer pointless threads. Debates can be just that, not slagging matches.
Much better on here. I've still got my account for JA606, if I'm feeling that way out I'll pop over and do a silly post on the scum board. You can't beat a bit of Scum baiting now and again.
