During quiet spells at work and keeping a keen eye on the transfer window, I found myself checking out other teamâs posts on ânot 606â. I thought it was interesting to note that the Hull City board is one of the most well used. Other sites that seem to have a lot of posters include Newcastle, Sunderland and Liverpool. Following the demise of the BBC 606 site, apart from not 606, did any other similar boards / sites take off?
When BBC announced that 606 was closing in January (I think) everyone on there from City POV jumped ship and came straight here. I think the others from Vital and CI etc have gradually found their way here over the last 8 months. There were a few other sites that people suggested at the time but we entrenched ourselves here and never looked back!
I think Not 606 gave a lot of readers from 606 like myself a fresh start, and a bit of an easier to use forum. The looks are better even if not great, and the SEO that is at work on the Hull City section will now mean that anyone now looking for a Hull City forum will pretty much be directed to this one. I think the fresh start gave readers a chance to post, hence the activity.
I love this site, get all my news and views here- the site goes down every couple of months but worth it for the rest of the time.
The site went AWOL last night, due to Transfer Window pressure. Just had a job getting on, within the last half-hour. But still - apart from NewsNow - it's my main source of info and thus worth putting up with the odd glitch.
We had issues with the admin on Hull City Mad around the same time this site was opening, so a few of us jumped across from there. I had no choice like.
