Not being one that usually reads the pages of other teams but what caught my eye was the sad lack of activity elsewhere. I looked at the Championship team forums and they are pretty bare with only a handful of recent posts. If you look further down it gets even worse to a point where there is nothing in Jockoland the brave at all.

I often take a moment (only a moment) to reflect on the obvious interlec, intulecter, intalectua, brainy talent that exists within this forum and the love that is shared. Credit to you all......

I usually try to find other clubs forums of our next opponents just to see who we might be facing, some club forums are harder to find than others, Wolves had a couple of good forums ,with good quality posts. Usually I seem to remember Blackpool as being reasonable as well.
With respect to N606 activity ,I think it depends on where that clubs fans have gone to post 606 or whether they had a forum before 606.
What also seems to have happened is things are more splintered now ie lots more forums scrapping over the same users. We have glory Horns, Wfcforums and N606 plus others ,so I assume that most clubs have several as well.
When we first came to N606 the idea was to try to move the 606 community (watfordfc obviously) across while trying to keep as many members as possible. Indeed there was a period when Ak was setting up Nests everywhere;)).
It is good to see this board as one of the healthier ones especially in the championship, but obviously new ideas are needed and we must guard against letting things get stale. With respect to this any ideas pass on to the mods and they can pass it on upstairs.
Sorry to ramble on so , but keep trying to spread the word ;)

Like Mr Norway says...the "bigger" clubs have 3-5 of their own forums.

i've looked at others..and this one is so much more friendly. Other forums argue a lot, we have mild disagreements, that's much nicer. Other boards on not606 have trouble with WUMs, we seem to escape them in the main. I love that we have become a warm, welcoming group, and that others feel able to just jump in when they want, either our own fans, or fans of other clubs. Long live not606, and all who post in her!

    :)

    Hello my friend.

If we had a peace wall between ourselves & the mags it would make things easier, either that or a helicopter gunship, lol.
I don't know how many of our lads go over there & wind them up as I have no interest in what they say or do.

We get infiltrated by their wums & that's when it kicks off.
Bit like being back in Northern Ireland.
Basically, we put up with each other but even at work or down the pub, they get their snidey remarks in.

Our rivalry precedes football by over 200 years & goes back to the English Civil War.
    For any who are interested.

I reckon there will be a bit more cross-board activity next season, when the big spenders with a small stadium, the Royal failures, and the Hampshire club that fluked an undeserved billionaire get relegated.
