Its been reported that Nosworthy & Kilgallon are being made available from Sunderland, Now i know that we have been linked with Nosworthy before, But i think Nosworthy at Right Back and Kilgallon in centre would be two decent players to get in.

    What are your thoughts?

    Keep the Faith!

JWM, I don't think we are in the position to be too picky about our defenders at the moment! I think i might get a game in place of Tommy at the moment.

Fair point made Guru! Still it doesn't inspire with confidence if we keep going up to Sunderland to get their rejects! We are going wrong at the moment because PJ is relying too much on premiership has beens and players looking at their last pay packets! There are 2 lower leagues that have an abundance of young hungry players that have a point to prove. The question is where the hell is our once renowned scouting network!

I don't think we should be put off by which ever club they are with now, If they can do a job for us right at this moment i would take anybody. Kilgallon would be fantastic in this league and we have all said about having a big solid defender which nosworthy definately falls into the category!

I'm not sure about Nosworthy he looks a bit of a big clumsy defender but I think Killgallon would be a great signing.

Saints fan in peace - you guys should really start looking down the leagues a bit more. Creswell is a class player picked up on the cheap from the lower leagues, he is young, has something to prove and will put his "shoulder to the wheel".

People like Nosworthy, Bowyer, Bullard and other premiership loanees are on high wages and only a stop gap solution.

I guess thats not news to your fans but it must be frustrating when there are some really good players in leagues one and two, waiting to be scouted and snapped up!

Good luck for the rest of the season - a few clever signings and think you will be good!

We need two CB's and we have a chance.

I'd take Killa, he could be rather good.

Agreed, Cresswell looks a potentially cracking signing

Kilgallon was class for the Blades a couple of years back. At the time one of the best Centre Backs in the championship. If he can regain that form he is well worth it but hasn't done anything of any real note for a couple of years. At 27 he would certainly be a decent shout

I've never really rated Nosworthy, and am currently reasonably impressed with Edwards' performances so don't think we need a right-back too pressingly. Kilgallon would be a great lad to have at CB though; he has experience and is a solid player.

And on the Cresswell front, I think he looks an absolute gem of a player: potentially our best left-back since Unsworth was here on loan!
