Ok I have to put another thread up or I get bullied. A few more of these and I will have my place in the record books. Hopefully whoever writes the record books will notice my contribution.

The Canaries get their nickname from the birds brought to the city by Dutch and Flemish textile workers in the 1500s. This is probably why Norwich voted to remain. If you made catfood with canaries you would do it in a Canary Cannery.

Everyone remembers Delia Smith’s toe curling screams of ‘Let’s be ‘aving you!’ in 2005, but what you probably don’t realise is she was actually saying ‘Letsby Avenue’ - the address of South Yorkshire police. She had just had her recipe for blancmange stolen by Nigella Lawson.

I was at the 4-4 draw at St Mary’s earlier this season. Loved it. What a fun game. I would take a repeat- but hopefully this time we will keep a clean sheet.

1-3 win. Let’s keep this run going.

KWP, Bednarek, THB and Adarma have all played 270 minutes in the last seven days. The way we dominate games I'm not too concerned about THB and Bednarek being too tired, but KWP and Adarma must be knackered. Manning has played 240 minutes too.

Luckily we have Downes (I hope), Aribo, and Stuie nice and rested, as well as Mara and Fraser.

It might be that 45 mins each for KWP/Manning on the left could be wise, depending on the score. We really can't afford KWP getting injured. Captain Jack in at RB.

Midfield of Downes, Aribo* and Charly feels like a sexy combo.

Stuie, Che, and Fraser the front three. I'm up for giving Adarma and Edozie a rest. Or at least bring them on second half if necessary.

    *Stuie and Aribo are interchangeable.

Can the Saints continue their unbeaten run or will the toothless canaries suck seed?*

*I unashamedly use this joke whenever we play Norwich and will continue to do so at every opportunity.

Did you know (or care) that the river running through Norwich is the Wensum? As opposed to the Saints team running through Norwich, who win lots. I'm late with my medicine, I'll be OK once it kicks in...

Also, the River Ouse flows through Norfolk.

    Wensum, Ouse some.

Reminds me of this bloke from Pompey who I used to work with, he wasn't too bright (unsuprisingly!) and he was eating his sarnies one lunchtime and said I really like this canary bread, we looked at him quizzically until we realised that he meant "granary"!

Imagine some of those players will be getting their break after Mondays game, so one more push required.

... but pressure makes diamonds (Adkins)

    Tough one, this.

I remember going there last time and we lost 1-0 in an absolutely dire game and an even worse journey.

    Expecting better this time!

Really great watch, cheers @- Doing The Lambert Walk

It shows what passion he has for the game and I like the fact that he hugged Delia in just his pants at Pompey when they got promoted!

Without 'tomming' it, it backs up my view he is the man to get us out of this league. Maybe not the next step, but let's cross that bridge.

He understands about team spirit, and how your team mates and team spirit make you a better team than you are. We are the sum of all players not just the individual.

Norwich’s finishing was really good at st Mary’s, we can’t give many opportunities or they will punish us.
