Will Captain Canary vanquish the Merry Millers at the weekend? Form: Norwich WWLDD Rotherham LLWWL Norwich sit top of the perch with Rotherham placed precariously just above the relegation zone. It is worth noting that though this will be Norwich's 31st game Rotherham will be playing their 29th and they have at least one game in hand on all their near rivals. Norwich won the Yorkshire leg 1-2 earlier in the year and the clubs first played each other on Guy Fawkes Night in 1960, Norwich winning 3-1 at Carrow Road. In total 37 games have been played between the two clubs (N:17, D:11, R:9) with Rotherham last winning in 2017. This video has some swearing in it, but I was wiping teas from my eyes from the commentary
No fresh injuries reported by Farke from Wednesday's game. Hugill has been back in full training and is available for selection (but probably not a start). Stiepermann back in team training next week. Farke has sent some scouts to watch him for the U23s... please log in to view this image
And they were given use of the 'company cart' - how very swish! I watched the second half and Stieperman looked commanding in organising the attack for 64 minutes with at least one shot on target (unfortunately the GK got in the way). It was Mumba who stole the show though, both in attack and defence, but the match was spoiled by the over prominent ref who sent off 3 players.
DF's Dowell dilemma, one of many: "Farke has to weigh up whether the time is right against Rotherham at Carrow Road on Saturday for his first league start since Boxing Day. “We are totally convinced of his potential and his skills, he shows us each and every day more or less in training. He is a fantastic character, a fantastic footballer, he has proven this in recent years. I think he was fantastic during the pre-season, that’s why he started the first two games, and then it wasn’t his fault or the fault of the club, you can’t blame him for being fouled and then being out for three months." Along with Idah and Hernandez, Dowell could make a huge difference for us in the run in. https://www.pinkun.com/sport/norwic...l-farke-everton-kieran-dowell-dilemma-7565482
It's almost like having a new signing with him being out for so long. It might be worth having a punt with him starting and Vrancic on the bench as we have commented on how potent he can be when coming on from the bench.
Yeah seems a bit harsh on Gibson, but neither of them had their most solid game last week and it is good to rotate and give them a rest
Cant find a streaming link. MyGoaltv don't appear to be streaming this game only Coventry v Brentford. Any others?
It's frustrating wasting most of the first half fannying about looking for streams but I'm not wasting £400 on ifollow
Touch wood, this normally works OK for me, though I believe DD has issues with pop-ups? http://freestreams-live1.com/ifollow-4/
