Before that, they lost 4 and drew 1, and have dropped to 5th in the table, 2 points behind us. Their top scorer is Joshua Sargent with 8 goals, with Teemu Pukki on 6. They have a very experienced goalie, in Tim Kruhl, and they'll be hoping for an immediate return to the top flight, after finishing 20th in the Premiership last year. That said, the last four seasons, they have either been promoted or relegated, winning the Championship twice. Suggests to me that they could do with a season or two in the Championship to build a squad good enough to stay up if promoted. As for us, we are only down to 3rd, with a game in hand on 1st and 2nd. Yes, we lost our last game, but it was on Friday night live on sky, and those games don't count, do they? Our top scorer is still Chris Willock on 6 goals, despite him having been out for the last 5 games. Dykes is now up to 5 goals, and has done well, but just doesn't seem as clinical in front of goal as Willock. I'm glad he hasn't been rushed back into the side, as that'd likely just cause another injury...but it'll be nice to have him back! Team news and manager comments to go up when on the official site, enjoy if you are making the trip, and as always...COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!!
Conspiracy theory. Is Col actually a secret Norwich fan? I'm more prepared to believe Bill Gates is making me type this!
Are Norwich bottom of the league, have they not beaten us in the last ten games, do they have a forward line of ex QPR players, have we not lost to a team that plays in yellow for forty years, have we won every game on the first Wednesday in November, no, oh good then, we might win
WLS says...Roberts will not play before the World Cup, but will go in Wales Squad...(not sure it has been announced yet...has it) Reading between the lines...Beale does not rate him, and doesn't care and is making future plans without him
Big change of mind by Beale then if that reading between the lines is true. Until now anyway, Beale seems to have built him up as a striker ( which he hardly looks ) and has given him a lot of chances.
If its good enough for 'rangercol' to hate Norwich, I'm prepared to throw much dislike their way, too! C'om you R'rssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Last Friday, the John Eustace factor was partially, but significantly responsible for that debacle. I believe / hope that MB will have learnt from that and be better prepared for the Canaries.
Wat it the Eustace factor or was it that we all expected an easy win (Check out the prediction thread) The entire team played like ****e and got the result they deserved
Need that bounce-back for this game to keep us up in the clouds of the championship. Looks like Chrissy Willock will see some game time. Always desperate to see us beat the ‘budgies’ - so let’s hope the team and MB get all cylinders firing tomorrow evening. Be good to go into the break with a few positive games behind us.
“Rangers have won just once at Carrow Road in 28 years and that was back in 2008, when a Martin Rowlands’ goal helped the 10-man visitors hang on for a rare three points in Norfolk.” … WLS Time we fixed that **** record.
