We usually have very entertaining games against each other but we have built a bit of a fortress at Carrow rd lately, i am pretty sure we will grind out another 1 0 for the 3rd game running.....<ok>
Good luck for the rest of the season ...

For just one tiny moment back there, I thought I was the one that had gone a bit mental, and that I wouldn't be going to the football on Wednesday night after all! Phew!

Hope not as well because every other bloody ex player who's played against us this season has!! All have shown respect for us though with their lack of celebration, sure Surman will do the same, not sure a certain Nile Ranger will though if he is involved tomorrow.

It would be even more respectful if they just didn't score.

Or score an own goal. That would be very respectful.

Not worried about Drew, wouldn't get in our team now.

I always really rated Surman, shame for him his career probably hasn't gone quite as he'd hoped.

Whilst he wouldn't get into our first XI, I would take Surman back instantly. Decent midfielder, useful utility player (can play him in three or four different positions, which is always useful for a substitute), and of course a local lad.

Playing regularly-ish in a premiership side seems a pretty solid career

Disagree in the fact he was never in the same class as some of the other young players we had to let go at that time due to our financial plight, Walcott, Kenwyne, Bale and even Baird.

Surman had a good season last year and is an integral part of Norwich's squad and has done well imo.

I'm not saying his career has tailed off into pure mediocrity, but I think he might have had dreams beyond warming the bench for a bottom half Premier League team with occasional substitute appearances or starts in place of injured players. Or maybe he was a pessimist/realist and this is all he ever wanted, in which case congratulations to him!

If he scored an own goal and celebrated, that'd be alright.

I agree with Mikey that Surman could have turned out better than he did. His time at Wolves was a total waste.

I like Surman and agree with a few others that he could have turned out better. He's bound to score on Wednesday though.
