We return to Carrow Road on Sunday this week, after successive away games, for the visit of Middlesbrough. Hoping to continue our recent unbeaten run. A win or draw this weekend would make it a year unbeaten at home!

Norwich picked up two points on the road over the past week at Stoke City and Preston North End. Last Saturday, Ante Crnac scored in a 1-1 draw at the bet365 Stadium before Borja Sainz and Shane Duffy found the net to help the Canaries come from two behind at Deepdale.

    Squad update
Gunn - OUT - likely now a couple of weeks. Still in pain when reacting. JHT won't rush him
Nunez - OUT - likely now a couple of weeks. Still in pain when reacting. JHT won't rush him
Fassnacht - OUT - a week or so away from returning
Barnes - OUT - May be back on the grass in the next week or 2
    Gibbs - OUT until Christmas
    Hernandez - OUT until Christmas
    Springett - OUT until Christmas

    The Opposition
Michael Carrick brings his Boro side to Carrow Road sitting in eighth, just one spot behind Norwich City. Their last outing was a 1-0 win over Sheffield United, much-needed after successive defeats to Watford and Bristol City. Emmanuel Latte Lath scored the winner in the 80th minute.

    The Manager
    Michael Carrick
Wednesday night's win at the Riverside Stadium was Michael Carrick's 100th game in charge of Middlesbrough. His first season saw a resurgent Boro climb from the depths of the Championship to the play-off spots before losing in the semi-final. Last season, they finished eighth after a campaign of mixed results with Carrick also guiding them to a League Cup semi-final.

    Positive vibes!!!

    ON THE BALL CITY!!!

You're on a great run, Suffolk! Long may it continue. I saw this morning that Fassnacht may return to training on Monday. Let's hope so.

Edit: JHT makes the comments on Fassnacht next week in the presser video above.

Shame about Gunn seemingly further off and Nunez still a way off too, but we need to make sure these key injuries don’t derail another season.

Norwich City first-team trio Amankwah Forson, Kaide Gordon and Gabriel Forysth all featured as the Canaries U21s were well-beaten 3-0 by Sunderland at Colney. 25th October

Forson, Gordon and Forysth were all limited to 45 minutes on the pitch, so could be available on the bench tomorrow.

Despite two draws, results have roughly fallen in our favour the last few rounds and already today - win tomorrow and we will be at least sixth (possibly fourth if neither Blades nor W Brom win)

It would be good to have him fully fit after the international break because we have a somewhat bizarre run of fixtures up to Christmas Day where we play all four of the current bottom four and three of the current top four.

In fact, our slightly yo-yo set of fixtures doesn’t stop there - aside from Millwall, we only play teams in the (current) top five and bottom six right through to the final fixture in January.

Long is nowhere near as good as Angus, but he isn't to blame for dropping points the last 2 he's been pretty good

Not solely responsible certainly, I think we win both games with Angus in goal though.

He’s a backup keeper, it’s not a very attractive gig for most keepers but we must back him
