Entering the fray as a last minute substitute for Zogean, I'm here to bring some wins!

For me our recent performances haven't not brought the points we deserve, we have been good/dominant in the last 2 league games and deserved to take all 6 points! We unfortunately have a team that are still low on confidence - they need to score and capitalise on the moments in the games where they are dominant with some conviction.

Smith has questions/issues to resolve still though, none the least at LB where we are now without 3/4 of our options, Mclean/Nunez/Hernandez could all feature here.

Questions are being asked about many positions in the team:
GK: Gunn - Krul hasn't really put a foot wrong this season, but my choice would be Gunn as we look to build from him going forward.
RB: Aarons - No debate and no options
CB: Omobamidele and Hanley - For me they are our best centre backs but i'm not sure they work as a pairing, especially with Hanley on the left side - he looks uncomfortable there so perhaps they should switch.
LB: Anyone left footed and fit
CM: Nunez has to start, Gibbs has done well in recent games and earned a start, perhaps bring Sara in to play a three.
RW: Sinani - Rashica has been really poor, time for Sinani to come in and show what he can do.
LW: Cantwell - Has been lively, energetic and wanted to get on the ball with quality and deserves to keep his place. Hernandez has looked good when he has come on but I think he serves best as an impact sub.
ST: Sargent - Never thought I would say this but Pukki needs a jolt to the system or a rest, he's looked a yard or so off the pace in every game and the chances he has had have been tame. Although not as technically good or as good at finishing I think Sargent offers such energy that he is a better option at the moment.

Huddersfield come into this game fresh off the back of a win against Stoke so they will be in a confident mood.

Lets get this first win on the board and drive forward for the rest of the season!

    Positive vibes!!!

    ON THE BALL CITY!!!

If we don't win this one I can see the Carrow Road faithful getting very restless.

    I think Pukki is injured

4 games without a win won't go down well.

DS said he picked up an injury in the 4th minute (bruised foot I think) but managed to play the rest of the game with the injury so should be ok

I know I promised not to post any more negative posts about Smith.

But I just watched this and simply cannot believe how far we have regressed under him. We have sold a thoroughbred and exchanged it for a carthorse.

    Apologies, I couldn't resist.

There was an old manager, Deano,
    Whose tactics came straight from the Beano;
    The old heads have dropped,
    And Pukki has flopped,
    And next he'll destroy Marcellino.

Just look who pulled the strings, it was Buendias team and he was central to all but the penalty and the 7th goal

A lot of truth in that, Suffolk. Buendia was on fire by then. But Farke had brought him to that level of performance. Counterfactuals, I know, but could Smith have done the same? I don't think so.

We started our second season poorly, in fact Farke was close to the sack, until he brought Buendia in and results turned. I’m not saying he wasn’t helped by Farke but Buendia was the genius behind our promotions in my opinion

Looks promising, shame we don't have an actual LB to swap out McLean with but needs must.
Rashica finally dropped! Sargent up top (?) for harrying & work rate, hope Dowell & Cantwell have their assist-boots on tonight, they need to put a performance.

That's a midfield Pukki would appreciate. Gibbs could do with a strong game .

With Sergeant as striker, we are not likely to rely on him scoring. Some enforced changes, but it seems yet another gamble to find a winning formation.

After the Marseille heroics I thought Hugill might get a chance this season .

I rather like the looks of that lineup. At least it's interesting.
