I notice tickets are still on sale, wouldn't have thought there be to many left!! If there are only one - two thousand left surely we should be selling them for £10 each? this is the biggest game of the season.... I know it would be unfair on people who have already bought for £35 but considering the circumstances I wouldn't care as long the extra fans helped cheered us on to 3 points.... For those going shout make some noise clap your clappers even if you don't normally join in! For 90 minutes bring back the spirit of Europe " stand up if you still believe"
The club have heavily subsidised the Villa away game and are doing the same with Stoke away. I wouldn't expect them to take a hit on home games when they will most likely sell out as it is.
Who would have believed, back in August, that the game against Norwich would be the biggest of the season? Amazing, really.
We've had loads of 'biggest of the season' games already and if we win we'll have one or two more. Kind of defeats the point of a biggest of the season game when there's so many.
True. But Norwich? I had hoped, back then, it would be against teams like Newcastle and Southampton, even Spurs, maybe, ones that were looking to get into the Europa League.
Even in December I was looking at the fixtures at the back of the season and thinking that's where its all gonna happen. I think it will sell out Bidders. I don't think there are now several thousands left to sell. The ticket page on the web site is crashing which tells me there is demand.
i've always said if we're within 4 points with 5 games to go it will go to the wire...i'm still to be proven.
We're after revenge... those 3-0, 5-0 (http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19221586) and 6-0 hurt real bad. Especially the last one, that was an absolute shocker, relegated us on last day! http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_prem/4525103.stm
There's no doubt that we normally do well against Norwich but I think it means nothing tomorrow. Our play has improved and confidence will be high so it is all looking good but I'm as nervous as hell. Expectations are high and the support will help. If we do go 1-0 down the crowd need to keep behind the team. Just as with Villa, Norwich find goals are difficult to come by so this first goal is important again. Let's hope for no controversial deciders, and may the best team win !
I will be helping my daughter move tomorrow and between 3:00pm and 5:50pm will be staying away from all mobiles, TV's and Radio's. I would prefer to just turn on a see the result and if we've lost at least I won't have had the whole harrowing 90 minutes to sit through before being gutted. Although you can bet your bottom dollar that I will endure a series of close shaves a la the Likely Lads in that classic episode when they were trying to avoid finding out the England score before the highlights come on the TV that night.
