Norwich have signed Leeds midfielder Bradley Johnson, with the player admitting manager Paul Lambert was a key factor in his move to the newly promoted side. The 24-year-old is the fifth arrival at Carrow Road this summer and signs on a free transfer after his Leeds deal expired. Johnson said: âPaul Lambert has done a fantastic job since he arrived at Norwich and that was one of the main factors in me signing with the club. âIâm over the moon to get the chance to play in the Premier League with a big club like Norwich and under a great manager who I have a lot of respect for. âNorwich have already got some good players and Iâve had some great battles with some of them over the past couple of years in my time with Leeds.â And Canaries boss Lambert reckons he has got a player who is already accustomed to the big-match atmosphere of the Premier League. He said: âBradleyâs a strong midfielder. âHe has played against Tottenham, Arsenal and Manchester United in the FA Cup so has played in that big-game environment, and for a big club in Leeds so heâs used to playing in front of crowds.â
