They have got to be gutted with the marking (or lack of it) on Jansson and the winner, glad that wasn't Green allowing that one in. Our second goal was the best of the 5 great build up play with all involved. Their first goal, I still can't see how it was an own goal, maybe the angle is deceiving.
Norwich are going to be wondering how they let the last 2 games against us slip through their fingers. 3 well taken goals and 2 firsts. First goal for Jansson, what a celebration, and I can't help thinking deja vu for Vieira........that was a well planted 25 to 30 yard shot to nick the game in extra time.
LUCKY LUCKY LUCKY....(as the song goes) For us oldies, luck was something Leeds Utd didn't get in the past. I'll take every bit of luck we can get.. Scum got away with it for years..
Shaks. I think it was irony by Paul due to a previous post by ll that we didn't beat wolves (I think) because it was an own goal. I could be wrong of course.
Yes I think irony Was a long spell of injury time though but Roofe had a head injury and was treated on the pitch for some time. 2 minutes later he was seen to be groggy again and the physio came on, leading to a substitution. This had effectively stopped the game for 7 minutes. I think we play around 8 mins injury time. Loved the bond that the team showed, particularly at the end when players and subs came over to the fans to celebrate the win.
Still think Wood ****ed up. If he'd really concentrated he'd have put that chance over the bar as he intended
We are looking good and we shouldn't fear anyone now. Trying not to get carried away yet but I can't wait for Newcastle next in front of 38000....then Liverpool....this could be a very good season
Liverpool scare the fook out of me ATM,just hope we don't get a hiding that could destroy our confidence.
Think Klopp is the real deal, they got lucky there. This is a freebie for me, affects nothing in the championship. Whoever goes up knows they need to strengthen to have any hope of staying there.
Hey'up Chesh, Whoever Monk picks, I got a funny feeling the players will rise well above for this game. If we do'em over like we did Man U we're 2 steps away from getting into Europe, wouldn't that be some achievement.......
Just watched them put 6 past Watford on the telly. It's knocked a great big hole in my optimism. Hopefully they play their reserves, but I can't see it.
Liverpool play on the 19th and 26th November, then us on 29th, then play again on 4th December, that's 4 matches in 15 days, or 3 matches in 9 days.................you never know your luck.
