Just read this, what a disgrace!!

Town have issued advice to fans making the trip to Norwich for the derby at Carrow Road on Sunday 1st March (KO 2.05pm). The Blues have been given 2,000 tickets for their visit to Norfolk, which will be shown live by Sky.

There will be no designated ‘away’ fans pub at Norwich, the pub that has opened previously has decided that it does not wish to open on that day.

Coaches will be escorted from Ipswich by Suffolk police outriders, who will escort the coaches directly to their destination near Carrow Road and will need to co-ordinate their arrival with the special train. Coaches will be charged £22 each and in order to enter the car park quickly should be asked to pay online prior to the day.

All supporters are to be encouraged to go directly to the stadium, which will open at 12 noon, earlier than usual, so that people can get a drink/food from the visitors section.

There will be no ‘bubble’ and supporters will walk freely from/to the coaches/trains/car parks to the stadium. However, there will be a large police presence to guide and protect fans along the way from the station and coach parks.

The special train will be departing Ipswich at 12.35pm, calling at Stowmarket only. It leaves Norwich at 16.20pm, again calling at only Stowmarket, which will only allow supporters approximately 20 minutes after the match to get back to the station. Obviously there will be normal service trains running which supporters could catch if required.

We are unaware yet if the special train will serve alcohol but normal services should be serving as usual.

No pubs will be open for Town fans making the trip up to Carrot Rud and fans using the special train service will be given just 20 Minutes to get the train after the game! What a bunch of morons Norfolk police are! We treat the Norwich fans with a modicum of decency and they treat us like scum! I think the Norfolk police are just looking for any excuse to brutalise law abiding Town fans. They are acting like ****ers! <ok>

Guys I think we are over reacting to this, a Budgie pub that usually opens to away fans is staying closed, can you blame them, after all there are always a small minority that will want to leave their mark, leaving the pub with a hefty repair/clean up bill the next day.
As for travel arrangements, they are just trying to condense the time Town fans are in Naaarwich, for the same reasons as above.
Coaches would always have to pay to park anyway.
If you travel by organised transport you will always have a time restriction to be back on board!

Always been the case, mate. Back in the day I was in the Barclay with the Chantry lot when just after KO one of our number got jumped on and dragged out by three Norfolk OB, I'd been chatting to him seconds before it happened...

Saw him the next day and he'd been arrested and charged with spitting at the scummers the other side of the fence, now he was a good mate of mine and a good lad and spitting at opposing fans just wasn't his style, and if he had done that I would have seen it, but it never happened, he was 'advised' by the OB to plead guilty as the Magistrates would always believe the OB (which is true, they do) and that by pleading guilty he would probably receive no more than a £25 'slap on the wrist' fine.

So he pleaded guilty on the day and got hit with a £375 fine...

Seen no end of our lads get nicked for **** all at Norwich, I hate the Norwich OB, utter scum.

I'm guessing that if two of Suffolk's finest had to give evidence against you in court that you must have pleaded not guilty?? What was you charged with, the ubiquitous 'threatening behaviour'?
