The return of premier league football sees a clash between premier league new boys, Norwich City and Arsenal. It’s a game between two teams in the top ten. One you would have expected to be there but the other has been a surprise to many. Under Paul Lambert, Norwich have won 3 of their 11 games in the top flight. Arsenal have conceded more goals in the league then Norwich. Arsenal have let in 21 goals compared to Norwich's 18. Arsenal's away from this season has been well short of the standard they set last season. But their last away game was a memorable one, a game which will leave long in the memory of Arsenal fans. A 5-3 win away to Chelsea will give Arsenal a much needed confidence boost needed to recover their away form from last season. Also should Arsenal win, it will be their 5th league win in a row. A feat they failed to achieve last season. Van Persie as always is the man to watch out for, having scored 11 league goals in 11 games. Norwich will look to Anthony Pilkington to create. A player that has impressed this season for Norwich.

Gibbs is out for 4 to 5 weeks after having a surgery on his hernia. Carl Jenkinson is also out. He has a small stress fracture and is told to rest. No return date for him. Abou Diaby and Marouane Chamakh are back in full training. Diaby will clearly not be ready for the weekend after being out for nearly five months. But Chamakh is. Does anyone know if the gentle giant( Per) is injured or not, and also i really think that the Ox should be given some time on the pitch. May be come on for walcott who would appreciate the rst after playing in the 2 matches at International break.

 

Per is fully fit for this game.

I think it depends how Lambert sets them up - in his pre match interview he said that Norwich will have to cut off the supply to RVP.
So, we just need to make sure that we are one step ahead of them and ensure that he gets that supply.

I think this is a game that Arteta and Rosicky could be really important in.
