Is it possible to petition the football league to allow us out of our misery and call an early end to the season?
It will be disgraceful if fan disgruntlement can't be put to one side on Monday for Teemu's final appearance in yellow and green. He deserves an untarnished "Thank you!" and memorably appreciative send off. And Gabby Sara and young Gibbs deserve to have their POS and YPOS awards similary acknowledged. It's the fans who are under scrutiny on Monday, no-one else.
Speaking of Pukki, there is a really nice piece by Michael Bailey in The Athletic today, with tributes to Teemu from Daniel Farke, Paul Warne, Christoph Zimmermann and Emi Buendia.
They haven't scored at Carrow Road since February, surely that has to end against relegated Blackpool ?
I'm sure you'll be in attendance telling those ghastly "so called " fans that it's them under scrutiny, not the over paid players, the coach , Webber or the board just the mugs that spend their hard earned money to attend games. Perhaps you can lead them in a rousing chorus of "It's all our fault " inspired by the greatest tactical genius in football Dean Smith
Not good enough, you need to go to the match clap until your hands are red raw regardless of the performance or score & beg forgiveness for the horrible home form this season . The fact that they haven't seen a home goal since February & Pukki hasn't scored since September is due to the lack of clapping so extra scrutiny will be needed against the "so called " supporters , especially if the team lose again which we can't scrutinise ever . It's all our fault always
Back to the game: will Pukki start his last game for Norwich? Or be brought on in the second half for a well deserved send off from the fans?
I liked Iwan Roberts's idea of starting him and taking him off with 10 minutes to go. He can then get his well-deserved send off. Hopefully the team will have put in a reasonable performance. If not, the disgruntled fans can make their feelings known at the end without impacting on Teemu.
It was just a thought buddy. I've never been a disgruntled fan myself. well, not in any meaningful way.
