City go into this game on the back of a well earned hard fought draw at Anfield against Liverpool at the weekend and Canaries boss Alex Neil will undoubtedly rotate his starting line up for the visit of the Throstles. Midfielder Alex Tettey misses out after collecting a fifth booking against the Reds on Sunday so Gary O’Neil is likely to take his place in the starting eleven. Left-back Martin Olsson could well be given a first start of the season after his recovery from shoulder surgery, as could season long loan signing Dieumerci Mbokani. Midfielder Youssouf Mulumbu however, remains sidelined with a fractured metatarsal so will not feature against his former club. please log in to view this image Dieumerci Mbokani could make the starting eleven for the first time Although he has declined to name them, West Brom head coach Tony Pulis is also set to make changes as he has said that several of his players are nursing knocks following the Premier League win at Aston Villa at the weekend. Goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard could make his debut and Jonas Olsson, James Chester, Craig Gardner, Rickie Lambert and Callum McManaman who all began on the bench at Villa Park are in contention for a start. Alex Neil’s Match Preview please log in to view this image Alex Neil gives his thoughts on tonight's match “The team will be motivated,” Neil said. “The players who have been playing want to continue the momentum that we’re on and some of the guys that get a chance to play will certainly want to stake their claim for a place in the team.” “So that should be motivation enough regardless of what the competition is.” “We’ll treat it is a cup game, which means it’s a one-off game and we’ll go out to win it and hopefully we’ll do enough to win the game.” “It gives me an opportunity to have a look at some players, so we’ll have to wait and see who they are.” “We’ve got a good squad and we’ve got competition for places all over the pitch and the lads are desperate to play, some will get their opportunity and others won’t.” Tony Pulis’ Match Preview please log in to view this image WBA Chief Tony Pulis barks out instructions to his charges “I think it’s only right to let the supporters know we will have to make changes,” “It’s a long trip and we appreciate their backing on a midweek night, but we’ve come back from Villa with four or five knocks and niggles, which we cannot take chances with.” Pulis went on to say he was “desperate” to win the Carrow Road clash but added: “It’s only fair the supporters are aware that on this occasion we will be forced into changes.” Current Form (most recent first) Norwich City DWLWD West Bromwich Albion WDWDL NORWICH HOME In their last 20 home games, 21 of the 47 goals scored by Norwich have come from forwards, 23 from midfielders and 3 from defenders. Hope we field a strong team for this. Now we have such a competitive squad, these kind of games are the perfect opportunity to look at how those on the fringe of the team could perform in the league.
TEAM: Rudd; Wisdom, R Bennett, Bassong, Olsson; E Bennett, Dorrans, O'Neil (c), Jarvis; Grabban; Mbokani
SUBS: Kean (GK), Whittaker, Howson, Hoolahan, Toffolo, Lafferty, Redmond Grabban and Mbokani is interesting. Looking forward to this!
Looks like Grabban will be playing as second striker/AM behind Mbokani. Even more interesting! Great to see Elliot Bennett get his chance at RW. Toffolo ready to come in if Olsson tires (although he can also play at CB).

Evening Guys, OP updated with team line up graphic ..................let's get ready to rumbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbblllllllllllllllllee
F*CK sake. Good to see Mbokani start...But Grabban gets a sub appearance, then a start!? He doesn't even wan to play for us anymore!! Playing players that couldn't give a shiny sh*te about us makes me angry.
He said sorry, let him get on with it. I've made plenty of mistakes in my life. You have to move on eventually.
If it was just that and he was class, but his head was turned...Then fine. I didn't see why he was fancied, before he shat on us. Now, not only is he not good enough, but he doesn't want to be here. I respect him apologizing (slightly) he said sorry because his deal fell through and hes stuck here. He wouldn't have said that while the window was still open. He's a very average striker who is desperate to leave us, yet still gets picked. That annoys me.
