    Norwich City v Newcastle United

    Saturday 12th January 2013

    Kick Off @ 3pm

    Squad
Debuchy is in line to make his debut, whilst Cisse and Colo is expected to return from 'injury'.
News is awaited on Cabaye but hopes are high that our influential Frenchman will make his first appearance of 2013.
Tiote misses out due to ACON attendance.
The usual long terms suspects are still out but the good news is that Saylor and HBA are back in training although neither are expected to match fit for a little while yet.

    ACS's View
For me, if Cabaye plays I can actually see us drawing here (We've lost the last 16 on the road in ALL competitions).
I'd therefore pick the following team:

    Krul

    Santon
    Colo
Perch (Willo is not an option for me)
    Debuchy

    Bigi
    Cabaye
    Anita

    Marv
    Cisse
    Obertan

I've also attached a poll to see what you chaps think the result will be.........

I'm going for a win here as we desperately need one. I'd take a scrappy 1-0 with them scoring it tbh.

The ticket for the 10/12/11 game has just appeared in front of me. That really was a bad day at the office. As long as we don't get twanked 4-2 I'll be reasonably happy, but I'll be hoping for a point at least.

Yes. Because you're currently only two points off the relegation zone. <doh>

Perch is apparently injured and I can't see cabaye starting. He might be on the bench. So the team nearly picks itself really. I'm worried about our bench. We need to get our noses in front in this game as if we are chasing the game, we have no one waiting in the wings who can come on and change it.

I'm going for a draw, but I'm not gonna get my hopes up.

If Saylor and Cabaye are back, I think we could nick it though, but I think the Everton game was the first step on the road to recovery.

We were unlucky to lose, and it should have been 1-1. Baines goal, despite being immense, shouldn't have gone in.

We defended well pretty much all game, apart from Santon just losing Anichibe.

    2-1 defeat.

Brief periods of good play, with no cutting edge. Concede due to defensive errors.

Not quite, but we could be dragged into it, and I fear our squad isn't the strongest to deal with it, especially in the goalscoring department.

Just had some bad news, rang the BP about a seat on the coach to Norwich and their coach is fully booked.

Anybody know an alternative company to use?

They've already been in touch with me but I wouldn't want to lose my amateur status.
