BBC have been filming inside the Ballysally Estate in Coleraine, Northern Ireland for a year. The show starts on BBC Ni next Monday at 10.30pm. Time to cringe, hopefully it won't be as bad as the Scheme.
How come you never posted a picture of your house Med ? Is it in the contract of a certain BBC show starting next monday, that you won't leak any pictures or footage ?
No way Medro. I was in Ballysally a right few times about 10 years ago. Parties after Trax. It is an utter dump and that is coming from someone brought up in Ardoyne. I'll probably watch a few minutes of it and turn it off. Is it just being shown here or across the water?
No I don't live in Coleraine. When I went to use google streetview it told me to roll back to previous version of flash player so I didn't bother
So it'll just be another bunch of scummy scallies in Celtic and Rangers shirts, but with different accents. I imagine I'll be able to watch it on BBC NI through Sky?
NI is always difficult for fly-on-the-wall documentaries to handle. I imagine because it's Coleraine it's going to be a Loyalist estate, which means they will be showing some of the rituals of dregs of Unionist society - without showing the dregs from the Catholic side. This will lead to 'bias' claims of misrepresenting one community - so the BBC will probably be scouring around looking for some Catholic eejits to balance the thing up
I liked the one about the flute bands. did you see it? the wee fat **** in the liverpool kit was good.
