When it comes to England's best, where has the country produced its finest. You think of Charlton, Gazza, Scholes, Gerrard, Stiles, Ball, Robson, Owen, Platt, Lineker all from the north. Then probably Moore, Adams, Greaves, Carlton Palmer. Some may argue Beckham, Rio and Sherringham but they couldnt wait to fck off north to learn their trade properly. So as well as having the most successful clubs, does the north also naturally produce the best talent.
It does seem to suggest so. If Greg Dyke gets his way, most of the London clubs will suffer the most. And if the occasional England talent emerges south of the watford gap, they'll be moving north like Beckham and Sterling.
Just being a pedant but isn't but isn't Lineker from Leicester? Swap him for Rooney and you got it right.
The north is usually superior in everything. Football is just another example of the Norths dominating superiority over Southern people.
If you're from the North East, you're probably of Viking stock. If you're from the North West, you're Irish. Either way, you can drink the Southerners under the table - and in a game renowned for its drinking culture, it follows quite logically that the toughest, most resilient and indomitable players come from the North.
More people from the Midland have VCs, Knighhoods, most Millionaires, I could go on. South people are fat, North people are a bit dim, Middle people are just better loocking and the men have bigger man sticks* *so I am told
Try,HaynesCohen,Peters,Kane, and Hoddle, all southerners, even Englands best manager was from the south!
Not bad, but way short of the Norths offerings Best goal scores for English land are from up north (excluding Gary Lineker as he is from the superior Midlands
Lineker classes himself more as a northerner. Southerners consider anything above the M25 as North so fck 'em
