The North East XI: Harper; Bardsley, Bramble, Coloccini, Enrique; Barton, Tiote, Nolan, Henderson; Gyan, Welbeck. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...-pip-Mackems-North-East-XI.html#ixzz1NZ6VxKvW The team doesnt really suprise me, especially in midfield considering we really havent had one for much of the season. Thoughts? (ignoring the fact it is the daily mail)
Phil Bardsley at right back... He hasn't played right back for us all season and when he did last season he was very much limited. He's been a class left back but we've seen little evidence of him performing that way at right back. He's looked dangerous this season because on the left he can cut in and shoot on his right foot. I know let's put him at right back... Stupid journalism. Henderson is a trier? Mustn't have watched most of the games where he looked completely lost and confused in midfield and became anonymous. I know let's put him on the left wing then... Stupid journalism. Colin Young... Stupid journalist.
i'd near enough agree with that, mags strong midfield is pretty much their strong point. just shows that if we had their midfield or they had our forwards, there is a damn good team in the N.E, shame it's spilt into two. reckon some of the mags may have something to say about bramble being in that team though.
I don't think that's far off at all. Gordon over Harper if he was fit and personally I'd take Gutierrez over Henderson but other than that it almost picks itself. I reckon Steve Taylor would push Bramble out with more games though considering his goal scoring antics... And fantastc theatrical handballs.
His bird is ****ing class though. Someone Robinson. I loved her before I heard they were going out. Then I got put off. You never want to fancy a bird who goes for lads who look like they hang around in kebab shops.
Yeah, it does look pretty spot on to me. From Newcastle's point of view it's the strikers which let us down big style.
I agree with mosr of the team. Jonas ahead of Hendo, at least he causes problems for defenders, whereas in many games, young Jordan seemed ot mainly cause problems for himself. Tiote has got to be one of the buys of the season. Nolan was decent although I hate that fat sod. Spot on about Bramble too. He was class for us before injury.
I'm sure Tanya Robinson chucked Steven Taylor a couple of years back, then went onto "Date" ,wait for it..............One Phil McBardsley!!! She saw the light and came over the right side.
