It came down in a nature reserve. The death toll of poor creatures hasn't yet been fully established but early indications are at least three fatalities including an earthworm, a frog and a moorhen. A spokesman for Liverpool FC has confirmed a minutes silence will be held at the next game at Anfield. Newcastle United along with the Welsh FA are planning a benefit match at the Millenium Stadium in Cardiff.
I hope nobody is going to start joking, making mock sympathy comments or genuinely just being disrespectful about a tragedy in which 4 people lost their lives - I also hope we;re going to have people lighting candles and every poster on teh forum will be more or less forced to make a saccarin comment about how sad it is. What was that? No Glaswegians involved? Ah right - carry on as you were then.
I am related to one of the dead personnel. Appreciate that no jokes will be made, but if they are, just have the decency to not be specific. Thanks once again, Jiffy X
We went to that beach during our holiday in Norfolk, we dodged a bullet by not holidaying 6 months later and walking the dogs at night. One of the dogs got through a gap in the fence and went tearing round the nature reserve bit. I had to climb over the fence and catch the little ****er.
Another US helicopter crashed yesterday in the town of Norfolk, Virginia. Coincidence? I think not. I'd be interested to know what Eddie makes of it all.
