A thread dedicated to the discussion of all the transfers not regarding Saints. We've got some movement already. Daniel Sturridge has moved to Liverpool for an undisclosed fee, and Chelsea have activated Demba Ba's release clause.
Nice for Chelsea to sign Ba when they still have to play us twice. Preferable to them signing Falcao, I guess.
It'll be interesting to see what our relegation rivals do. Reading are apparently linked with Arshavin, Pavlyuchenko, Joe Cole and Palacios. Four pretty good players, but will want high wages and can be very inconsistent. It's a massive risk for them. Wigan have been linked with Jeremain Lens, but have just loaned Angelo Henriquez from United, who plays in the same position. Villa probably have the least to spend, but they'll probably sell Bent. Robbie Keane is linked as a replacement, and also Glenn Murray who I don't think would make the step up all that well. QPR will probably spend a ton of money on a bunch of disappointments.

Interesting to see if Sneijder (sp?) will be making his way to the premier league, lots of spurs rumours not long ago. Would be a great addition if he gets some of his form back.
Always liked Cole, but his story is a warning to other players about moving to a glamerous club when young for the money and then watching as your career goes down the drain sitting on the bench
Daniel Caricco. SL's captain, cost them £500k? Also, Reading describe him as a midfielder on their site.
He's been a DM for a couple of seasons now. He's alright, not really been living up to the potential everyone thought he had. Definitely worth a go on £500k though.
