Where's this raft of signings we where promised on 1 July. I was pinning all of my hopes on this day. But it's been and gone. And yet other teams keep signing players.... we get a new scout to erm....... do **** all till next summer. We are a bit of a joke atm!
Presumably the can't register paperwork on a weekend? Not saying anything is going to happen tomorrow but isnt this why they extend the transfer window if it is due to close on a Sat/Sun

Patience is required - when we spent 50 odd million on Mbemba and co, the first arrived on aboutbthe 6th and the rest on about the 20th or into August - be great to do it early and Rafa like any manager will want that but it's not easy

Not in the least bit worried about transfers. What will be, will be - and I trust Rafa to spend the cash he has wisely.

100% agreed, Everton are spending furiously atm and paying probably over the odds at present but if you know you have £100m coming in you can afford to speculate to accumulate.
There's no way Everton are spending like this AND keeping Lukaku. Sandro looks like a steal, but if he's that good, why are there not many clubs after him? Michael Keane @ £30m. I mean, what the fck?
You can't though - he and others are just told to wait for offers by their agents. Once Everton come in, we move on. You can't wrap it early when everyone knows who is available. His agent will have made sure every club in Europe knew the score.
