Non iPod MP3 players

Anyone have any idea which ones are good?

I've got a Creative Zen one just now but the battery is totally ****ed and only lasts two hours, had it for 2 and half years now though. I had a look on Amazon but can't be ****ed trawling through them all.

I refuse to buy an iPod because they're **** and break all the time. Plus I just hate Apple for their queer marketing and fart-smelling arrogance.

The boy sharing the cabin with me threw a wobbler on Monday night because his iPod kept turning itself off for no reason. Started moaning how he can't get to sleep without listening to music. I offered to sing him a song.....he wasn't interested. Humpty ****.

Venom, i have a creative zen too, they are awesome apart from the battery. mine is about 3 years old now too.

 

There are loads of ****s who do that Nev. There was a **** in the cabin next to mine a couple of trips back and he was snoring so much the metal wall was vibrating like ****. Felt like some **** was drilling in my head.

They brought this young lassie out to the Tartan Alpha when I was on there in 2007. She was a "sleep therapist" meant to tell you how to get a good night sleep and stop sleep apnoea which can cause snoring. In the end the folk who turned up just said stuff like "You can teach how to sleep any night darling" and "Can you come to by bunk for a demonstration?"

 

get the new touch. the wee games are amazin. a sit n play them aw the time. apple are total ****s but ther gadgets are quality

Aye, the Zen is handy because I can just use it like a memory stick on any laptop or computer offshore to put songs on don't need iTunes or any software.

The games are good on Apple stuff. My Nokia N900 can play any Apple game though and has the NES/SNES and Megadrive emulator for it. Earthworm Jim is ****ing magic on it.

 

Creative Zen 60Gb - had it for 3 years and battery still good for about 10 hours. agree with you on this Venom iPods are ****e.

There is a guy on here who has one. He gets slated to **** for it. One guy called it a "£500 Etch-a-Sketch" the boy wasn't happy.

It's a smart bit of kit, I just can't see the point in it. The guy on here was showing the painting package as an example of why it's good. I just laughed at that one. Some **** who works on an offshore platform going on about the different brushes and textures.

The Samsung one is meant to be much better but is still about £500. It's a big boys toy really.

Tell you what is a magic laugh though. Xbox Kinect, bought it when I was onshore; it's ****ing amazing. What a laugh we had doing a pentathalon tournament.

 

I've got an 80gig iPod (old style) which I got for £50. I never use iTunes I use Media Monkey which is much better.

My iPod is brilliant, 350 odd albums on it and still space for about another 1000 at least.

 

but you still look like a posing **** every time you take it out your pocket.
