England two nil up in series against Australia. A 5 nil win will place England top in all forms of cricket. Unlikely as even one washout will prevent that.
Just listened to Australia captain: If we get back to our very best we will be able to compete with England.
Although sounding upbeat, it is actually saying that they have to be at their best to give us a game.

Makes a pleasant change. Will be very different come the Ashes though. You just have to look at the huge impact the Aussies have for our county teams to know they have a huge depth of talent.

It's just not right. Whatever happened to the good old days of the England collapse when we could all have a good go at the team for being useless, especially against the Aussies? Still, there's always the football team.

And there's no Pietersen anymore, one of the best one day batsmen around. Although I was highly amused when Pietersen got out first ball of the match v Hampshire in T20 in his first T20 game for Surrey.

Delighted! Another good season for Hants in the T20, looking at going to finals day again, although that will mean missing Saints first home game back in PL. Dilemma!

    It's only Wigan...

Although, that already looks like a relegation 6 pointer, is our only chance to get points on the board in the first 4 games and is the first time we've EVER played Wigan in the league (it's the one we've all been waiting for!)
