Nominations for a new Mod

Right then Gasheads, I`m starting to get busy at work and soon will find it hard to spend so much time on this forum so I would like to step down as moderator for the Rovers board as I don`t think I`ll be able to do it justice. Aside from that I don`t think I`m suitable to be in this position I think the board should still have a mod so I suggest we all have a say on suitable candidates, assuming some of you are interested.

Get your nominations on this thread and once we got a few sometime next week we`ll start a vote.

I suggest we all have 2 nominations in order of preference.

 

YOBG should remain mod, he got thick skin so he can hack it I only have a thick penis but that aint gonna help this board run smoothly

i would be happy to do it. however there is a pro and con about me doing this.

pro would be what chris said as i think im on here more than any other gashead so would make sense.
con would be i dont think i be suitable with some of my wums and comments which may be class a tad inappropriate

however as the author as requested, i wont vote for myself, my 2 would be p49 as he is quite sensible and chris who is worse than me with his comments towards the 82ers but is on here enough to act a mod. i would be happy of course if YOBG remained a mod though.

Furkin hell CJS a mod

 

Just spotted this. By his own admission CJS has been wumming and is quite incapable of moderating his own behaviour-resorting to playground name calling. Whatever the provocation there is no justification for this from a would be moderator.

 

Depends how you define a WUM. It can be broadly used to cover very minor disagreements through to outright insults. There is a very thin line between deliberately winding people up to provoke an angry reaction and banter. CJS treads this line, like many of us very well and can take it and dish it out withought resorting brain dead hatefull comments, unlike some. The vast majority of posters are level headed and intelligent enough to recognise banter but sadly a small minority become offended far too easily or simply do not have the brain capacity to recognise banter.


This site is far different from the old BBC 606 where over moderation ruined many perfectly good arguments. Not 606 lets people take it to the limit and the moderators are very broadminded not to mention thick skinned. I think that like me, it would take some pretty serious **** for CJS to start using his mod tools so for this forum he`s the ideal candidate.

 

Ok, i had this dream last night that CJS was a moderator... How funny is that!
