So far our goalkeeper and defence has been sorted. We then voted for our favourite RM of which scott Murray won with Clive Whitehead runner up. So now we move on to our centre midfielders but remember you have to nominate 2 players.

    The team so far

    ------------------------Gibson---------------------------
    Sweeny--------Merrick--------Collier--------------Bell
    Murray----------------CM-----------CM------------------LM
    -------------------ST-------------ST----------------------

For my 2 Middle men. It is Marvin Elliott and David Noble

Marvin Elliott wouldn't come as a surprise and david noble because he's left me with some of my greatest memories as a city fan and he was a great player to watch

    Over To You................

I may come back later and edit this.... Gerry Gow and Tinman are tops of Peter Cormack, Steve Galliers, Tommy Doc, Paul Hartley, Evander Sno and Ivan Testemitanu that spring to mind.

Gerry Gow is a certainty but there are so many to choose from over the years - it's a shame it isn't the same now!

Oh yeah I forgot about that <laugh>

Gow and Tinman for me, they were closely followed by the fantastic duo Kilkenny and Pearson.

But I'm going for Gow and Tinnion <ok>

    Gerry Gow and Brian Tinnion

But honourable mentions to Trevor Tainton, Tommy Burden, Gordon Parr. GP not strictly a midfielder but played a lot of his career during the day before 4-4-2 so playing left half meant he was not simply a defender.
Plus recognition of the very brief cameos of John Quigley, Bobby Kellard and Peter Cormack.

    Gow out on his own.

Good bloke Scotty Murray, met him a few times but there is no way he was a better player the whitehead. without a tinnion in the side he struggled. So Gow - Tinnion.

Always impressed by gary shelton cracking player with a never say die attitude.

If Marv brought out a box set of his career on DVD I think season 1 & 2 would be worth watching and the other discs would never leave their case.
