Yes he will be missed. His influence, his leadership, his goals, team spirit, etc.

BUT 4m + add ons is a pretty good deal for a 28 year old who is a average & limited goalscoring CM grafter. He will be 29 by the end of June & there was no guarantees' he was still going to be a first team regular on FOOTBALLING ABILITY.

    Cabaye - 25
    Tiote - 24
    Gosling - 21
    Guthrie - 24
Potential Nolan replacement - Gardner/Barnetta. Two players who are at a good age, versatile, relativly cheap & decent footballers in the whole(Barnetta is better).

    Potentia CM outgoings :

    Barton( I hope not) - 28
    Nolan - 28
    Smith - 30

Do you see the pattern here? The clowns up there want ''fresh, young, cheap & players who have a resale value''. All is clear now and I know I will get some stick but I kind of like this style. OUT WITH THE OLD IN WITH THE NEW!

Nolan. You will be missed and not just because of your goals! :emoticon-0101-sadsm

Your missing Nolans direct replacement mate Ben Arfa. Nolan, in my opinion would have been on the bench behind Ben Arfa.

I know, but Ben Arfa's a ATTACKING MID not really a CM right? Nolan's main position is CM/AM. <ok>

True enough. I would hope he will be the one to pick up the 10 goals that we will miss from Nolan. Time will tell i suppose.
