All very well, but we already have Stead and Pitman who were superb in pre season and Stead was our player of the year, whereas we have a gaping hole in the centre of our defence. This could mean we spend loads on wingers and strikers and leak stupid goals like the beginning of last season.
I would rather see us spend the money on a rock-hard defence

At today's training session, Doc said that Del was unable to attend due to recruitment drive today and he expects us to be having 2-3 new signings shortly.

Be patient Del signed Anderson, Cunningham and Morris under radar. Heaton was leaked by someone who snapped a photo from the passenger list. Baldock is one we have been talking about, Hunt just came into it today so who knows if the 3rd is not a defender. Del knows we need to address that position.

I personally think Jamie Wilson will step up to the mark this year alongside Fontaine, with Carey, Tanglefoot and Stewart as back ups.

Its Fontaine I am nervous about. However, what you say is true, and we really have no idea where our next signing is coming from. But I really hope it is a central defender, and that he is a very good one

Why Fontaine? Thought he was brilliant last season, and if he had someone equally as good beside him he can only get better, which means his defensive partner will get better. Would Love McManus but wage's were to high, and it looks as though we will be getting Anthony Gerrard, If we can beat Leicester that is
