Jimmy Greaves was not in the final 11 but played a big part in getting there. He is hanging on by a thread after a serious stroke a couple of years ago.
RIP Nobby. One of football's great characters.

Greaves’ autobiography was one of the first (of many I should add) I read and it was an eye opener.
