I watched 'Winter's Bone' the other night - very good and atmospheric. Otherwise have been catching up on the series: 'Hunted', 'The Bridge', 'Borgen' and, coming up - 'The Killing'.
All good - also a new series of Spiral started this weekend and you might beable to get the first two episodes on I-Player if it isn't repeated during the week.
Was that the series with the female spook? If so, I thought it tried too hard and got unnecessarily complicated. Preferred Spooks myself, but it was watchable.
Ptang Yang Kipperbang was on last night, great little film - had to watch it in Year 9 for English. Then watched Die Hard 4, which was also pretty damn good, except the guy that played Justin in Dodgeball was in it. Then Changing Lanes was on, so it was a decent night for film last night.
I think they should've stopped at Die Hard 3. It's starting to just milk a cash cow now. Apparently they're going to do more. Although, that's the only bit of info you got from Bruce Willis from his awful One Show Interview. I watched Psycho and the Birds the other day. Missed Vertigo though.
I saw some interview with Willis for the latest Die Hard, asking him if John McClane was ready to hand the mantle over to his son, to which the reply was that he will do at some point, but he can still keep going for now. I got the impression there are likely to be a fair few more films in the franchise. I watched a bit of the Birds on Saturday night after getting in from my night out on the outside lane of the M62. The special effects were very good for it's day
He sounded drunk, tired and like he just wanted to go home. But then if I was Bruce Willis, I'd be wondering why I was on the ****ing One Show. It's only a step up from Loose Women in my opinion.
Cheers - I loved Spiral...a new series? Yeah - Hunted. It was a tad complex (if you fall asleep watching it, you have to re-run it to understand.... ) And the last episode was 'weird'!
I put Vertigo on yesterday, but I wasn't really in the mood. I also recorded Kiss The Girls(Morgan Freeman), which I might watch tonight.
After Shaun of the Dead we watched some film with Christian Slater called Replay or something. What a pile of dog ****e. Two hours of my life I'll never get back
