    Just been looking at the BBC website and the football gossip column. United are supposed to be in the market for Videl, Di Maria, Sanchez, and Cuadrado

    Yesterday it was Carvalho

    Wednesday was Vermaelen Hummels and de Vrij.

    We all know Van Gaal has megabucks to spend (apparently 200m), but all these so called links are bovine excrement

    Seems this is the silly season gone mad, but I guess the papers will say anything to boost sales
