Swansea City Supporters Trust chairman Phil Sumbler resigns!

Due to the way the board is heading, he could not all on good faith endorse the board of directors, this tells you all you need to know regarding our board of directors.
    .............<ok>

Quote ..Since the deal was approved by an overwhelming majority we have worked to try and pull that deal through to fruition. However, some of the detail provided has placed me in a position where it is not a deal that I – as a Trust member – am comfortable with and it is my personal belief that it placed the Trust in a positon where the working relationship with the majority owners had broken down - Phil Sumbler

The moving of the goal posts and possible reneging on the deal shows the complete and utter contempt Jenkins, the Yanks and the sell-outs have for SCFC supporters, the club, the Trust and Trust members.

Knew it would be a big mistake to deal with this scum board of directors, should have stuck with putting them in court, at least we would have shown some backbone by doing so, regardless of the outcome, what a mess.............<ok>

My understanding is that they tried to do something similar to The Ospreys over the Stadium, but they wouldn't cave in to them.....

The trust is a nonentity now with no pull whatsoever.....A bit like the Boy Scouts movement a good idea but dwindling to what it was....

I like Phill, he's a true gent, but I still think he made a big mistake trying to broker a deal with Rats, you cannot rub shoulders with such vermin without getting bitten, and sadly that's where we are now.

It is now clear that we need to stop this process and pursue legal redress, we have a very strong case, why spend £30,000 on coucil's opinion and not follow it?

The Jack Army needs to grow some backbone and realise that we are in a situation worse than the Petty days, we need to start getting off our armchairs and start putting our collective minds together and start doing things to bring wider acknowledgement of what is going on.... <ok>

PS: In short we need to sue the bastards!
