If we beat Spurs tommorow then it's a POSSIBILITY, albeit a very weak one. But don't say ANYTHING yet.

So, you stopped the kiss of death and inadvertently gave it the kiss of death?

    Nice.

I'd agree. Okay Utd have played 1 extra more but 7 points clear with a superior goal difference.

Hmmmmmmm. Arsenal won the league on goal difference in 88-89. It was important then but not now.

I am not worried about winning the league.. Just beat the spuds and they'll be out from Europe. Don't say they finish 5th.

I'm not trying to be pedantic but we won the league on goals scored not goal difference.

After Arsenal have spunked all four opportunities to wind in United when faced with them and appear again to have one last chance if they can best Spuds and United and Chelsea do a big favour in beating them once again in the league at OT then Arsenal will be firmly in the driving seat. <ok>

However if they do not take this very last chance of silverware after six long years then they are as we suspected not good enough!

Suppose if Arsenal win the title then you'll be empty handed. Then your mighty team is inferior to Arsenal young team. <ok>

Unbelievably we can still win the title. What kind of ****ed up league would allow something like that to happen?

Everybody already knows that always happens in the season after a World Cup. What are you? Like, twelve?

Inferior is a big word with little meaning in this case, Arsenal managed to beat Chelsea at the Emirates this year but failed away. On a head to head basis both are as useless as each other but if Arsenal go on to win the league I will be happy for them and yes that would make them the better team overall ....THIS YEAR ONLY.

But I'm convinced Chelsea will finish 2nd as Arsenal's inability to step up when challenged to take the league by the horns has not materialised so there's no reason to suspect they will start at Tottenham.
